@AllKinHomeWorld That wasn't his point at all.
He's not saying that we wouldn't have European technology, he's saying that America as it is today would not exist without Europe, and in turn, American companies and technology would not exist. And he's right.
And speak for yourself, I for one AM grateful to the nations of Europe. I may not agree with their governments' left-leaning policies of today, but I certainly appreciate their contributions to art, music, cuisine, and yes, technology.
