  • @stewb2004 Damn dude 5'7 145? You're just a little guy...You should keep that caloric intake up to match the intensity of ross's work outs.

  • you have to dedicate yourself to this so much to get this amazing brute strength and speed and endurance that i had.i mean PUSH YOURSELF.follow the great motivational qoutes in all of the chapters of infinate intensity.dont hold nothing back.but be qually smart about it so you dont hurt yourself along the way and most of all LISTEN TO YOUR BODY if it need rest give it rest even if its after warrior challenge or interval training.

  • after i did the infinte intensity for 3 month so that 75 days total in the program.i am 5'7 145 lbs and was able to snatch a 90 lbs dumbell with one hand.i really freaked myself out to holy shit did i just do that? rosstraining is the real fucking deal.ross for life man

  • Respect.

    Its pleasing to see a descent sport scientist. Plyometrics push ups, DB swings for speed n power. Pull ups for strength. The overall workout to increase conditioning by 90% ready for any type of competition. :)

    Respect again!

  • Nice try dude. Im a fan of Ross myself. What's the music you used? Its sick.

  • What is it with all these slack-jawed faggots posting videos of Ross's infinite intensity workout? This fellar can't even do a proper pushup to even think about getting on this workout.

  • @Jouwl

    While I see where you're coming from on your points about proper form, these are motions that are meant to be done at speed. These points that you raise are for steady form pullups and push ups, which come from the slower and steady movements typically seen for strength/hypertrophy style workouts. This is a combination strength/conditioning workout, with the aim of increasing muscular endurance and being able to complete as many rounds as possible in the given time.

    Well, in my school a pullup of any grip means that you should be moving from straight arms to the point where your collarbones are the same height as whatever you're hanging from.

    The plyo aspect of your pushups I can't comment on, but your general pushup form is bad, you're dropping your head to the floor and not tightening your abs enough for a straight body. A simple consequence of this is that you don't go as low as you should.

    But of course this is just my personal opinion

  • @kobilizer

    Thanks for the praise and well done to yourself - fair play :-) Thanks for the suggestion regarding the rest - sounds like a good idea and I'll keep it in mind the next time I rotate around to Ross's stuff again :-)

    @Jouwl

    Can you elaborate a bit more here regarding 'proper'? After that many pullups I feel that a 'minor' loss of form is inevitable, as many of the others who have commented here and who also 'study' Ross can attest to. Plus they are of the wide grip variety making them that slight bit harder. Plus, the plyo pushups you see here are a fast version without, but are nonetheless plyos - cf, a great poster of the Ross workouts Babbis13 - Infinite Intensity
