Very possibly. I must admit I can't think why I've not tried that...

@MalusCalibur Ok, I see. Just trying to get a feel for what you were doing, so that when I reach this part of the game, I have a good strategy to consider. Thanks for the reply!!!

I think the two of us went into this with relatively the same strategy, though I barely used Kanbei due to my incompetence at getting him enough funds to build battleships, etc.. 41 days later, I had it won with a score of 256. (79/81/96) For my first try at this, I think I did rather well on this map.
And you can't send Blue Moon to this map. Nell says that Blue Moon isn't able to send troops, but their support is unwavering. That's why you never thought to use Grit.

Ah, yes, that's right. I knew there had to be a good reason for it!

2 things:
1 --> your commentary is AWESOME
2 --> i have been able to destroy the factory with max and eagle by crossing that bridge... it is possible!

@Raezeman
1: Thank you
2: I don't doubt that it is - but is it the most efficient way to win?

I'm not sure, but wouldn't Drake be a better choice as one of the commanders for this map with both of his direct damage attacks on enemy units? Not to mention that there seems to be more Sea Area than Land Area?

Maybe. He would probably only be of real use in the third spot (the pipe-assassination role), and personally I prefer Kanbei there.
