@jsturm5hk8h Also, points fluctuate all the time depending on the number E-5s currently filling positions. When I was in, the points for a CBRN Specialist was 350 and Infantry was in the 700s. And I dont't think that Uncle Sam does not want Infantry.

@preachboy1 I am guessing that you are a worthless shit that has down nothing with your career. I was in a Chemical Operation Unit and I am now working in the Environmental Field about to get a CHMM. Look it up, you might learn something.
Of course you are going to have to do bullsh*t work, it is the Army. If you are enlisted you should expect that for the rest of your career.
Like anything in life the Army is what you make it.

Its not dead, its in transition.
If you are in Civil Affair unit most likely to get additional trainings L4 and more tech or op level HAZMAT. AIT is just part of initial entry training. There are more training when you are in the Army. yeah it takes more than just AIT but thats for every other job. in engineering(construction, electrical etc) or medic in AIT they just cover basics. yeah ppl can dis on this job but Im proud to be a dragon soldier

this is a dead mos there is no career progresion e5 points is 790 the army doesn't want us anymore don't pick it. if u take this useless mos all ur unit is going to do with you is make u do all the bitch work cuz there is nothing for you to do

this video is a lie! 74d only scratches the surface and with just that MOS you can't do any of the things she was talking about. it takes a lot more than just AIT to go anywhere into a career with CBRN
