Good and bad in every country, but the ending did not surprise me. He clearly went to that country for all of of the wrong reasons, but did not admit it on film. Never wanting to commit? Someone tell me why? I am sure the local women could see through him and were just milking him for what it was worth. Sad ending, but I am sure Phillipines is a great country with good people in general.

So does that mean if you are attempting to live there always ask for ID (sounds rude) if a girl comes on to you and looks young but if you are not attempting to live there then you don't have to because they are trying to get out of the country with you counting on you marrying them later?
Girls in poor countries will try to screw you over so watch out. I planned on marrying a filipina and bringing her here for 20 years then going back there and building a bar and house. Having 2nd thoughts now.

After being forced to leave the Philippines, Ken settled in Thailand, and a couple of weeks ago, he unfortunately died of an apparent heart attack. R.I.P. big guy.

You can't really own a bar out right if you not born in the P.I. but that doesn't stop alot of guys who want to be "big shots" from being a so called "bar owner". I have lived in Balibago for years and look down on those clowns. I "sneak out" girls from their bars every chance I get, yes I'm just a "John" but its better than being a "pimp", diba???
