@kingofthemooners09 The Oscar was for Best Documentary Disney's True Life Adventure - The Living Dessert. The Emmy is for Best Variety Show for his series "Disneyland".

@wolfcreature13 Well, it was found over the summer and shown a Destination D. I guess it wa put in there. They did find it.

I saw Becky in person at the NYC member mixer!

Am I the only one that is not impressed by this "newly discovered" footage? The only reason I say that is because it's not newly discovered! There's actually a bit of it in "The Boys" which I first saw at the Newport Beach Film Fest about 2 years ago. This footage has been around before! Yay for showing it to us, Boo for acting like YOU found it!

@sygo7g So true!!

@sygo7g I agree completely. Back then, the Disney Channel was still fun to watch between shows because of pieces like this. :)
@ImgineeringDisney he sounds emotional.
i think it's ironic that the last footage of walt has him apologizing for not being able to be there in person. it's almost as if he's apologizing to us for passing away so early into his legacy. so many people argue, "if walt were alive he wouldn't approve," but honestly nobody has any idea and i think people just say things like that because we all miss him and wish he were still around to lead the way. i can only hope that he's proud of his company.
