@LagDotCom If that was the case, then we'd see lots more people one-credit it. As it stands, the game is tough even if you bullet-herd correctly.

Ikaruga and Mushi are hard for completely diffrent reasons..Mushi is certainly harder than Ikaruga (even when taking chaining into consideration) but both are incredible.

The more insane CAVE games get, the more dumbounded I become while watching superplays, the more I think these are the last breed of TRUE games! No saves, no helping hands, no walkthroughs, no cheats, no nothing, it's you against the game, and nothing is fair on neither part.
