@Telephantasm i was being sarcastic, you said the trailer has been rated r, but according to the trailer, the film's rated r, not the trailer, even though it's actually pg-13. There's no such thing as a 'rated r trailer'. There are red-band trailers, but this one has been approved for all audiences according to the big green label. Which goes back to the original question as to why it says that the film's rated r.

@drummerjoe2610 I was being sarcastic as well, but I guess you're right. At the time this trailer was released, the original cut of the movie was rated R I think. I always thought that some green band trailers were restricted due to a less explicit content than the red band trailers, which are always more bloodish.

This is my favorite of the MI films. I think he's the most rugged and manly in this one, plus I like the action sequences and fight scenes the best in this one.
