A look at the village of Marazion, St Michael's Mount and Kynance Cove.

St Michael's Mount: in the 5th century (or later in AD710), a group of people reportedly had a vision of St Michael over the mount. In 1135, a Benedictine monastery was erected. Rebuilding was necessary in the 14th century, after an earthquake. Henry VIII dissolved the monasteries. The remains of the monastery were rebuilt into a castle, which was the home of the St Aubyn family from the 17th century. Reportedly, St Michael's Mount is the starting point for a ley line which includes Glastonbury Tor.
