Matthew quotes the slogan of a classic series of commercials for Wrigley's Double Mint Gum. The ads featured pretty identical twin girls called The Double Mint Twins.

The security guy is Toby Huss who has been in MANY movies and tv shows. I remember him mostly as "the Whiz" on Seinfeld, "Big Mike" on Reno 911 and the voice of Cotton Hill on King Of The Hill. Bedazzled(2000) is a movie I remember him being in.

And I just wanna say that I found it so funny and cool that Toby Huss and Stephen Root were on Newsradio together when about 3 years after this, they would both be in Disney's The Country Bears. Toby played the lovable crybaby Tennessee O'Neal and Stephen played the honey-loving fiddler Zeb Zoober.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone was published in the U.S. in 1998.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets did not come to the U.S. until after this episode aired, but it was out in the U.K.

I can see the reference...I think it would have been better if his scar had been a complete map of the London Underground though...
