@CliffTheMeerkat probably due to the director if it's everyone.

Hmm. There seems to have been a spontaneous outbreak of over-acting in this episode. Even the sublime Mr Brett seems to have slightly caught the bug...

I love how Holmes is seated in the master's study and Watson just gets to stand behind him :D

These adaptations of Sherlock Holmes always manage to find the creepiest, chubbiest, most pink faced men possible. If you'll recall Dr Roylott in the Copper Beeches, he also had a fine example of a "rape voice."

@2206411411 I think they kind of mention that she was drugged though. Or they at least imply it. I don't remember.
-
@Lyrictheac Whilst not shown on-screen, the actress certainly does portray someone who is drugged, so kudos to her or the writer for remembering to keep that detail in even if the reason is never shown.

The Inspector guy is driving me nuts....

holmes looking sharp in his all black outfit

I love the look on Holmes's face after he strikes the window. It's pretty epic.

@Songsmirth She was too drugged to scream according to the book. She was, however, able to regain enough of her senses to realize she was in danger, and to therefore attempt an escape.

i love how they always have reflections in like lamps and mirrors. So you see things happening after the "scene" is over. :)
