I loved that game when I was about 11 years old... unfortunately I couldn't actually play it, beacause my english... did not exist then^^

That "blue thing" is the Jupiter 2, the space ship from the series Lost in Space :P

Note also the Acme rocket and the Tie Fighter from star wars.

Finished that one in a few days, sans cheating, which was a first for me. Almost always had to badger my friends who had played it before on solutions, but I think I only got stuck at one later puzzle for a few hours.

You are right about the graphics; it's not just a technical thing, they're also just nicely designed. Great depth, interesting lines. I didn't notice that stuff as a kid, but coming back now, I appreciate the art a lot in this game.

I found these sort of games to be frustrating. When I climbed up that garbage elevator, I didn't know to jump onto a pole, I just got cut up in that shredder, lol...
