TV turns on and works normally until you hear a pop and the screen goes weird. Once the pop happens you can not turn the TV off or use any of the buttons on the side of the TV. You must remove the power cable to reset. It pops within a minute or so.
I have removed the back and checked for bad caps but was not able to see any that were bulging or leaking. Ideas anyone???

my vizio lasted 3 years no problem, but then last week it blew a compasater. it's only a $5 piece, but i'm not going to fix it im going to upgrade to the vizio 3D and will be buying the extended warenty. if it lasts me 3+ years ill be happy you got to remember you get what you pay for $630 for a 42" 3D 120Hz tv is a great price.... vizio gives you the most bang for your buck by the way my old one was the same one on the video we had a good run im going to fix it and sell it for $250

our family had a Vizio but someone threw a Wii remote at it by accident and vizio said if it was our fault they would not fix it and the outside/ screen wasent even the problem it was the inside of the tv but they wouldn't fix it

Vizios are JUNK!!!!!! Never again will I get another one. Mine died three months out of warranty! Vizio wouldnt do squat about it!
