  • For all the people talking trash step up or shut up. If you say your gonna bust his ass I'd love to see you get knocked out.

This guy is a pro lol you don't tell a doctor what to do bc he already knows what and probably alot more than you. If your so good at fighting why did you watch this video?

  • @Big724Mac Haters hate, man. Doesn't bother me.

  • @TechniquePrevails I like what you are doing, but this whole "boxers dont worry about leg kicks" has nothing to do with the correct form for hooks and uppercuts, jabs and crosses. MMA fans have a real problem when a person from a component art tries to offer contructive feedback and hide behind the "more options' argument which never really explains the sub par C level striking in MMA (and yes kickboxing as well).

  • @rizwanakhalil I agree- to an extent. I disagree that leg kicks don't change the scope of your punches. While as a boxer I would rather rotate off my front foot in order to get more of my hips and shoulders into the punch- an inside leg kick really stops that cold. So I content that it is equally ignorant to say that boxing doesn't have to take kicking into an account in mma as it is to argue the contrary.

  • @TechniquePrevails I agree that boxers generally have better hands, just as wrestlers generally have better takedowns. However, you can't take a wrestler and teach him boxing, kickboxing, BJJ, and muay thai and wish him the best of luck. He won't be successful. Without knowing how to effectively integrate the movements of each art into one flowing motion, the one dimensional fighter (even with several individual talents) is going to find himself out-classed.

  • If he came at me with those sloppy hooks I would just grab were his fore arm and elbow meet and bust his ass with an overhand.

  • @KODB123 Well then I hope I never run into you in an alley way. After all, you'd just grab "were" (not where) my fore arm (not forearm) and elbow meet and "bust my ass" with an overhand. Sounds tough, man...

  • @ghns1133 In boxing it's also a big mistake to kick the guy...... but our videos show those setups as well....

  • Great video. 5/5

  • @xXBeastfromdaEastXx It's funny, as a boxing practitioner, (not competitor), I thought, wow those hooks suck but realized MMA is entirely different and you need to have each punch and kick have flow and rhythm.

  • i love how ppl criticize these vids for being against boxing rules or saying that wouldnt work when this is clearly titled MMA Striking. of course all combinations and forms arent gonna be like boxing cuz theres a hell of a lot more to worry about. love these vids. its nice to see how others teach

  • some people say when your throwing a hook you should pivot and some people say you step what gives more power?
