  • hey there just wondering if you have noticed that the oscillating wheel (is that what its called??) is not very sensetive to movement with the carrera...is this the case with yours? For some reason I always used to think my seiko 5 was not very sensetive to wrist movements but I actually think my seiko 5's rotor is more sensetive :|

  • @romaf06 - You have to remember, the Seiko 5 rotor has more work to do as there is no manual wind mechanism. With the Cal 5 in our Carrera's the watch won't start up from a gentle shake so you have to manually wind it first. The rotor has less work to do in the Carrera. Don't sweat it bud, I'm sure all is fine with your new watch ;)

  • finally bought myself one of those carrera's :) beautiful timepiece

  • @romaf06 - Fantastic. Enjoy and wear it in good health.

  • Epic score! Ingenious concept video...very well done!

  • @NickDrake101 - Done with the iPhone 4s and iMovie Walt.

  • @romaf06 A friend of mine has a Rolex datejust and the sweep on the Carrera is smoother. Much to his annoyance...!

    Best wishes to you.

  • @vanillacoffee hehe i guess that's true, that is a very smooth sweep :\

  • @romaf06 - see my video... see how smooth that sweep is...?

If TAG Heuer think it's good enough, who am I to disagree lol

  • @romaf06 - Up until recently they were ETA. Many watch manufactures are exploring alternatives because the Swatch group (who own ETA) will begin reducing supplies of ETA movements from 2012.

The Selitta S200 movement is very similar to the 2824 but has the extra jewel.
