For everyone's clarification. Out of the 9 million dollar ASUCD budget...as of right now the ASUCD gives Aggie Pack $14,000 dollars. Most of that money is spent on Homecoming Week (that a few years ago the ASUCD used to run by themselves, which cost ASUCD a lot more money) and a couple thousand dollars for extra T-Shirts for basketball season. In terms of prizes and give aways almost of all it is from trade through our Marketing Department.

Free is a word that you throw out there, there is no such thing AggiePack gets a lot of their prizes/money from ASUCD(The Students Pay For It) I just feel that the student body shouldn't be forced to pay for something they won't attend. If a Cal or Standford student didn't want to go they won't pay and their AS won't force them to either.
Nothing has changed. I just went to an orientation there. Failed my math placement test in that exact sci-lecture hall.

The fact is it is unfair to those students who never attend a UCD sporting event have to pay for the marketing machine that is constantly intruding upon freshman. UCD athletics should foot the bill if they want to see fans like Stanford and CAL. Those schools have their "Sixth man" student fan programs funded by the university athletics. Don't get me wrong a pair of tube socks aint to bad sometimes, I just dont think students who don't attend should foot the bill.

well who's fault is it for never attending UCD sporting events. with so many sports throughout all the seasons, it is only their fault for missing out on any of them. plus why would UCD want to foot the bill for something they dont have to pay for? which would you prefer, paying $250 for Cal's season tickets for football, or going to them for free? who cares about a little advertising, no one.
