In her interpretation she reminds me so of Beverly Sills and the approach she has to music and the way she uses her voice. The only difference is that she doesn't have the effortlessly floating top notes that Sills did, but then she doesn't attempt them either and what a joy to hear someone as secure as she is in her technique as well as in herself. Bravissima Massis!

Massis a saisi l'esprit même de l'émotion belcantiste qui ne vise qu'une épure totale de la musique servant scrupuleusement la volonté d'un compositeur au moyen d'une partition.
