Angela Jia Kim of http://www.SavorTheSuccess.com and Marie Forleo and Tamsen Fadal discuss knowing what your worth and building the confidence to charge what you are worth! Today I wanted to bring up how to charge what you are worth. How do you know what you are worth and how do you value what you are really worth? I coach a lot of women entrepreneurs and charging what you are worth is a topic many women entrepreneurs really struggle with. How do you know what you're worth? Or How do you discover what you are worth? Tamsen says that you just have to begin with the premise and believe what you are worth. You have to think about what your time is worth and you also have to consider your experience. Think about what you are giving your clients so they can succeed down the line. Marie suggest to put the attention on the results that you provide for people. You could say someone's time is worth seventy five dollars and hour or five hundred dollars an hour, but it's really about what you can produce in that other person's life. If you can translate that value into money earned, or time saved, or happiness, a lot of those results are absolutely priceless, but that's all about positioning and marketing. And when you understand how to position your products and your services in those terms, in value for the other person then you really have leverage and people can really see, "oh, this is why she's charging me $500 an hour, because the results are actually worth $10,000" If you don't have a track record, you need to get people on board who have actually experienced your products and services and interview them and figure out if they aren't getting results, it's up to you as the business owner to tweak what you are doing so they get those results and then you can charge the big bucks. So, understanding, "how to charge what you are worth" really depends on the value you are delivering to your client. You can also give a lot of information for free, with free content.

I especially found these tips incredibly valuable: to provide loads of top notch free content, and to gift an influencial person with your services in exchange for a testimonial.
