This is my rodentry setup. All the mice, hamsters, and gerbils here are bred to feed my snake. Extras will be sold as pre-killed feeders or as pets. All animals are humanely euthanized before being fed to Snakey. I don't like that the snake eats rodents, but he does have to eat something and this is a much better option than feeding him the ones from the store that spent their lives in a dark tray. Females are only bred a handful of times and are kept at least a few months longer than they would be otherwise. I'm being as fair as I can to these guys. Nasty comments will be deleted. Snakes have to eat, end of story.

  • you let al your small animals has babies and then you put the little babies with the snake you are a cruel person #_#

  • @MegaCaco11 I put the grown adults with the snake, after humanely euthanizing them beforehand. Snakes, contrary to the beliefs of idiots like yourself, have to eat. Otherwise, they can live for months, slowly wasting away and eventually starving to death. I do hope you're vegan, otherwise you're a very special kind of hypocritical dumbfuck. I also hope you're no older than 8, based on your poor command of the English language.

  • I was wondering how you Euthanize your hamsters! And amen to someone like you how cares about the mice unlike alot of mice breeders!:)

  • @bouncingbunnies101 Wow, I didn't see this response till just now. Oops. I used to use CO2, but now I use cervical dislocation. While I never had any problems with the CO2, I just find cervical dislocation to be faster for them. Thanks. :) I just saw a feeder bin a while back and I will never, ever support that. It broke my heart to see all those mice crammed into a little dark drawer. These guys are happy as a lark and they eat better food than I do. :P

  • @spoonleTV They all make fine food for snakes. Mice are simply more prolific. You've obviously never met a snake, so I'll forgive your ignorance on their ability to bond. Are you vegan? If not, are you aware that pigs are smarter than dogs, or that cows are capable of being extraordinarily affectionate? There's this thing called the food chain that you would be wise to learn a little bit about before posting douchey comments on videos made by people who put a shit-ton of effort into their pets.

  • Poor cute little hamsters girbles mice DX

  • My hamster has cancer :(

  • I love your setup and your rodents look very well looked after. I am actually vegan and own both rodents and reptiles, it's a sad job to have to breed and know that soon they will be feeders but as you said the snakes have gotta eat something. I hate fluffy vegans who hate killing animals, nature is about giving and taking life but it doesn't mean anything has to suffer due to human greed.

  • you shouldnt breed them at 4 weeks old, its very hard on them having babys at that age, wait until at least 9-10 weeks....

  • I understand breeding the mice for food but hamster and gerbil do not have the nutritional value that a snake need like a mice

  • @MegaCaco11 i agree abbeyroad3012 you are sooo fcking creul i hate mice breeders but 1 of my mice is pregnant but we dont kill them you sick person

  • how much do they cost

  • I like the way your mom types out your responces to trolling :)
