I have that exact detector in my VE3 HSV GTS in Australia and that system is unreal. When a police car drives past me or a cop is pointing a laser gun at me I wait for the lidar shifter to jam their signal as i slowdown and then 9500 ci switches the jammer off (not the detector part) and then they get my speed by the time I'm doing the speed limit. When It comes to them revenue raising pieces of shit speed cameras hidden in the bush I just let it keep jamming so it cant see my speed at all. Bec

Did you guys purposely put the display where the driver can't see it. I'm sure it won't be that big of a problem having to look down at a 160 m.p.h. I was also wondering about the placement of the control module but after seeing where the "shifters" were mounted and the fact that they are Escort lidar sensors there's no need to be able to shut them off.

It doesn't. It's worthless. The guy's licence plate correctly predicts the cops' response to that "jammer". LOLHAHA! Decent radar detector, but the "jammer" doesn't have the slightest chance of helping him.
