Your Artist is the first one I've seen besides mine on youtube. If you want to see mine it's under my videos under 'Walking by Myself'. Mine's got 20 years of wear, though, they are exceptional instruments. And diverdave, the moog electronics are very limiting and suck, I did a similar modification to mine, retaining the original schematics in case I ever sell it, but not likely. This guitar has been my main for 2 decades.

four pots and only two micro switches did you modify it? Mine is a '79, and has three switches, and three pots.......... What a neck, Right?

Yes. This was modified by a luthier who works at Taylor guitars. It was his guitar. He removed Moog board and one switch and wired like traditional Les Paul. Notice neck tone control sits in place of removed switch. Gibson used same hole pattern as normal a.k.a. closest switch to pots is located where neck tone control would be anyway, even same diameter hole. Yes !!! the neck is fantastic and overall quality of guitar is Exceptional. They don't make `em like this anymore. This is my BABY.....
