@junecreedon No violation here. Generic/fake name, generic but very real situation for a patient who exists in every single city across the world. Relax.

@MatronTLH Well, sometimes they don't really mean much harm... it depends imo. what exactly they've done described as done because it is "fun". (went into homes a few times. I don't mean as a patient.)

Is this just a film you decided to make out of light, or some *real* vent ? Because crazy patients cannot help it... Just saying.

I don't know why some found this so offensive... I've worked in nursing homes, adult day care centers and had a grandfather with alzheimer's and I don't find this offensive. these are simply things that you have to deal with every day in this profession. and if you don't try and find some humor in the situation, even the most calm and sane people would snap like a dry twig. it's not done out of cruelty, it's to make a tough job bearable. ;)

When my old man lost it in much the same way as this (my mum was apparently a spy sent to kill him) in hospice the only 'doctor' (as opposed to caregiver) there stayed on and did a 24 hour shift just so he didn't have to get shifted to hospital. I can relate to, and see the funny side of this, you either laugh or you cry.
