Questions, questions, questions....I don't claim to have all the answers by any means, but I do think about things when it comes to faith and religion from time to time. Talking with someone about inter-religional? relationships and how the choice is made for the religion of the child prompting a response of: "Well, Catholicism trumps all!" It got me to thinking, and out popped this vlog-baby.

  • The enemy of communism is not just capitalism but also religion. Both are used to exploit the weak and make their bleak futures seem brighter when their is nothing but darkness behind religions flashlight of ignorance which blinds so many.

  • @TheDethBringer666 I think maybe that religion is more the enemy of MAN. I don't think I'd agree that capitalism exploits the weak necessarily...

  • @TheDethBringer666 Now THAT, sir, is something I can agree with!

  • Long post but < 7:30 vid. U+yer peeps R worth it. Yea some people tout their 'religion' like an ethnicity instead of describing a real faith following. Each person is responsible 4 himself only regardless of how he was raised. Doing *anything* is meaningless if YOU DON'T DO IT OUT OF LOVE. Period. BTW: it's not "having wine on Sundays". It's Jesus' Precious Blood. I do have to say that comment kinda irked me b/c I LOVE the Eucharist *more than my own life*-yea I'm that serious! Peace.

  • No, it isn't blood. It's wine. You know as well as I do that it's symbolic. And even being symbolic, since when is vampirism a staple of Catholic faith? That seems very strange to me...

  • Lemme school ya, Cath'lic style: O.T. started documenting Salvation history. Jesus suffered, died, & resurrected to save us. He gave us His Church. N.T. recorded this founding. Jesus commands *everyone* to be baptized (no limits on age - read it) as His gift to make us His adopted childern. Why withhold this if u can't guarantee baby will live to 'age of reason'? Cruel to do so. Capichness? If I truly love Jesus & I'm grateful, I'll love & obey His Church and obey out of LOVE, not guilt.

  • First, what is the purpose of being baptized? Why does holy water splashing the face/forehead of a person have any significance? Secondly, why must I obey? If Jesus is so loving, doesn't he love unconditionally? SHOULDN'T he? And why would eternal flames be a punishment from love if I do not obey? The punishment does not seem to fit the crime.

  • I am YouTubic. Devout.

  • @Smola1022 What I meant in my last comment is religion is the enemy of freedom, whatever your definition of it is. Its priests are mayors, its cardinals are its senators, its popes are its kings. Religion is a borderless country made up of blinded people.

  • I hear what you're saying about love, but one of the main narratives in the bible is about fear. People must fear God or suffer His wrath. He commands obedience from fear. Trust me, I much prefer Jesus's view of loving thy neighbor and simply caring for your fellow man, but there is a glaring conflict there...
