I followed your steps and everything seemed to be going well, the clip recorded but it's a .DEM file instead of .avi, how do i change it?

@fambiniX I have the standard, yeah. Also, I remember when AVI was supported with source recorder a dialog box came up and you had to choose a codec. Any idea where to put codecs or something? You can't choose codecs anymore can you?
If this doesn't work, I'm just going to continue using fraps. Thanks for all the help, man. Great video.

maybe try another format to make it? there should be tutorials on how to make it a mov

also, after the demo is done playing I do type endmovie in console, so i don't know why the file isn't showing up..
