@ubermisogynist Europeans think all Americans are the same snobs.. hehe, funny.
-
Correction - in Spain, you offer the left cheek first.
-
@nabmohs1 LOL you don't see it..No such thing as "Americans" either..The United States is just one country of man in the Americas..anyone from the Americas can call themselves Americans
-
There is no such thing as a "European". Stupid Americans.
-
I never thought it was big deal. I only kiss my relatives, though.
-
@pakitos In southern europe we also do that a lot (I am from Portugal). And when it is a men with a woman it also common to greet with a kiss. But not all Europeans do that, I believe in Germany they only greet strangers with a kiss in Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg (both southern states), northern germans and scandinavians are so cold that they barely hug their friends and family.

men kiss men...why o why?
-
hm, yeah...not so much in america. I double kiss my mother like that but..other than that..not so much.
-
Erm, I'm British and I only do this with close female relatives. And generally you'd never do this with strangers, and you'd be hard pressed to find a man who'd do it to another man, even if they know each other well!

Not all of Europe kisses, in Sweden in the rest of Scandinavia we absolutely don't do that, we barely hug friends.
