I went for the iPhone today but unfortunately it's over priced plans alleviated my admiration for it. I am now going to get the 8900 now.

i borrowed a friends Curve 8300 which has wifi. i was able to access some sites with the wifi without even putting a sim card in it. but some sites would tell me i need a data plan. i agree with you. its just absolutely ridiculous. why even have it on the phone if you have to pay to use it? should i pay someone a montly fee to use my netgear router as well? on top of my comcast bill?
