I got to see them around 1991 at the Strand in Redondo Beach, California. They had just come out with Lulu. They opened for Timbuk 3 (boo!), and the place was empty (no one had ever heard of them in LA) so it was like a private show for us. It was one of those perfect nights, intimate and we knew all the songs. They were VERY funny too.

I was lucky enough to see TS live several times. They played at The Toad Cafe in Milwaukee when I worked there. Across The Universe is one of the few albums I listen to all the way through & love every song.

Hey Patti! Yep, heard about the Semisonic gig . Won't be able to make it to that gig....Too bad they don't seem to ever make it around these parts anymore! It's great to see all the Wilson brothers stuff and the classic, rare Trip video on YouTube these days.
