Impressive PeerGrouP performance near Donderen, Drente, 12th november 2011, to a hundred volunteers of the Netherlands National Forest Service units Langelo, Veenhuizen, Westerkwartier and Lauwersmeer.

Come away with the Nightwatchman of the Noordsche Veld herds.. His tales about fear of the unknown, the white birch tree and centuries of thousands passing 'Hannekemaaier' seasonal travellers from Germany to Fryslân and Grunn. And the prehistoric stonegrave 'dolmens', built from abundant giant glacial erratic boulders, so called 'Hunebedden', referring to Atilla the Hun, who, by the way, never was here..
Another PeerGrouP experience: listening to 'the sounds of silence' makes you more susceptible to the sounds of nature and its signals, 'almost crying for response', are spontaneously generating 'improvised communication'. For more about their Site Specific Theatre see: http://www.peergroup.nl

All credits to 'Staatsbosbeheer', National Forest Service, district Veen to Lauwersmeer. An impressive tribute to their volunteers' commitment!
