PSP is an older person's disease and it is unusual for symptoms to appear before the age of fifty. As part of the normal ageing process, neurons in the brain anyway progressively die, but not in the numbers or specific areas seen in PSP and in related neuro degenerative diseases.

  • My mom was diagnosed with the PSP a week ago.

She is 63. She is too young to be in such a bad condition as she is right now. And it's going to be wors. She is dangerous to herself, she needs to use diapers, she can't sleep in the night and she does strange things. Only sometimes she is like she used to be her whole life. Horrible thing.

I wish strength all people dealing with their love ones touched with the PSP.

  • @Lakelanduk Aww thank you. Is it your mother that has it or....?

In some ways im glad, and devestated too... because part of me already misses her so much, yet another part is happy, because im glad she no longer has to suffer, sometimes that quality of life just isnt worth living.

  • Thanks for uploading

  • Thank you for posting this video. My mother has P.S.P., which was misdiagnosed for quite some time.
