stevieFFmaster vs Scaldera

Now for the Boss in the Earth Temple. Scaldera.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: This is NOT my best at Scaldera. I could have done much better but im not perfect and im not trying to be perfect. Nobody is perfect at playing Computer Games.

Scaldera is by far the easiest Boss in Skyward Sword. Scaldera is Summoned by Ghirahim and is in the right state of mind to cook meat!

Scaldera will start by chasing you up the ramp, you can throw a Bomb at him to make him roll down the ramp or you can run to the top where Scaldera's heat will detonate the Bomb Flowers, causing him to roll down the ramp. Either way will end the same way.

Once at the bottom Scaldera will inhale a massive amount of air then spit 3 - 4 fireballs at you. This part is very similar to the Boss Battle with King Dodongo on OOT.
As Scaldera sucks in air you have to toss a Bomb in his mouth causing him to explode from the inside, stunning him, blowing away a chunk of rock off his face and revealing his weak point - his Eye.

Scaldera may be stunned but his Eye will swiftly move around his body making it a pain to hit! If you are unlucky Scaldera may recover from being stunned before you can even land a hit on him. This is obviously frustrating and time wasting but dont lose hope.

When Scaldera loses enough Health he will stand upstraight and run twice as fast even outrunning Link as he dashes! Actually this makes things easier as you can just stand in the center of the path and Scaldera will run straight above Link's head and up the ramp.
Scaldera will eventually come rolling back down at you so be ready to avoid a rolling rock of flame.

Keep up the process of feeding Scaldera Bombs and slashing his Eye and he'll eventually drop dead leaving behind a Heart Container.

Now proceed up the ramp and through the Door where Zelda may be waiting.

@Pinkaspie That reminds me, I thought the Bosses in Skyward Sword were a disapointment... It seemed like Nintendo hardly put any effort into the game other than the Control of Link's Sword.

Yeah, that was an unlucky run... of course i've seen you do better but again it just proves that no matter how many times you play through a game its always unique! If i'm honest Stevie, i wouldnt do any better than you did in this vid, well done ^_^
