You can change it so they don't send them at random, but you probably figgured that out by now. You can download books on to a thumb drive and then pop that into the side of the digital player form NLS. I knew someone who had a Daisy CD player, but they used it for music most of the time. I find that I get tapes that are not on cartage or something I can download yet, so I would keep the C-1 if I were you. Plex uses Windows CE version 5 lol, but the programmers did a nice job.

I could see DAISY being more main stream as well.

DAISY has a copyright protection, I had to get a key from NLS for my Victor Reader Stream, I tried to use a cartage with it that was for my talking book player that came from the library.
