  • Hi there, well at that time i was using the standard blue & white bulbs with some arcadia led's however. with my recent update you'll see a big difference as i am now using 55 watt B/W 55 watt triplus pink, 2x blue tmc led strips & 1 tmc reef white 600 aquabeam..

    thanks again

  • Your water is Crystal clear ,love it

  • @tonyroma1161 thanks very much, appreciare your nice comment!!

  • yeah its a great tank, i am 8 months into it and loving it, costing me a fortune though. How you keep the tank so clear and algae free? I still have a green and hair algae problem. Hair algae seems to love the live rock!!

Am hoping the new media basket and rowaphos will do the trick....

    any tips welcomed :)

    Nick

  • @NCP81 hi again, well i use the intank media basket which holds rhowa phos, puirgen & floss however, be carefull of your amounts used as this does reduce volume turnover as you will see by your side water level indicator but above all i use a large amount of clean up crew and extra flow, a tunze 6015. hope this helps good luck & look forward to an update, cheers.. oh and remember to agitate your main water level as this helps the exchange of gas also reducing the grow of nusiance alge..

  • love the tank, have just bought the 6015 powerhead online and waiting for my Tunze 9002 skimmer to arrive also!

What lighting are you using? have u upgraded the standard T5 unit?

    NIck

  • @NCP81 Thanks for nice feedback, that extra equipment makes a big difference and currently just using the stock lighting although, i would like to add some LED's if possible. But you know like me this hobby is never cheap lol so hopefully in the near future, Tanks again....
