and if you're going to accuse Jones, who filled in magnificantly for Eric Mayes on the 1997 championship team and went on to be productive 3 yr starter and NFL draft pick, and Trent, who was a solid if shaky 3 yr starting CB and was also an NFL draft pick, of not being Michigan fans, then you're support of dickrod is clearly cultish.

yeah, but the timing of it is what makes it a slam on dickrod. If he was going to give a shoutout to Carr, the best time would have been the season opener in 2008, when Carr had just retired following the 07 season. Or he could have done it at the tail end of the 07 season when Carr retired not but a month earlier. Instead, he does it in the middle of the 09 season RIGHT AFTER the Illinois and Purdue debacles.

@InRichRodWeTrust I have stuck by Michigan even as we've gone 13-18 over a miserable two-and-a-half season stretch. And I believe that one day, be it under Roch Rodriguez or, more likely, a different head coach, the Wolverines will return to prominence as one of the top teams in the land year in and year out. It may take awhile with the hole we are digging ourselves, but I think it'll happen eventually.

The Bo quote has NOTHING to do with supporting the head coach and has EVERYTHING to do with supporting the team, contining to root for the team, and not abandoning the team to go root for, say, Michigan State or Ohio State. Because thats the case, I'm not violating Bo's policy in any way, shape, or form.
