I'm far too late to be of any help but you can get enemy items with the grappling hook. If you use it on a bokoblin you automatically get a joy pendant. Same for moblins and skull necklaces, dark nuts and knights crest, chus and their respective jellies, and birds and peahats for golden feathers. It makes it really easy to get the 20 joy pendants, golden feathers, and 10 knights crests needed for the side stuff. Actually, you eventually need 20 joy pendants to finish the game.

@imzy32 there used to be a max of 10 mins for the average person, and more for partners or something like that. Sometime early-mid 2011 it changed to 15 and more.
