First Great Western completely overhauled its High Speed Train fleet between 2006 and 2007, at a cost of more than £140m.
New, more reliable engines were installed cutting carbon emissions by 40 per cent, and increasing seating capacity.

Yes but HST is fastest diesel in the world.

You can easily see how crowded and cramped the seats are! The gangways are too small as well and the food + drinks on trains in general are so expensive people take their own anyway. Sorry for being so negative but that's the general passenger view.

The only trains I really go on are arriva trains Wales, and first great western, but I think the new interior on the great westerns is great!
