This is interesting:
(from 'Black Mountain Blues')
I'm bound for black mountain
Me and my razor and my gun
I'm bound for black mountain
Me and my razor and my gun
Gonna cut her if she stands there
And shoot her if she runs
Still, "The Pusher" ranks high up for me as a great 60's-early 70's rock 'n 'roll number.

I love this album. My Dad had it in his collection. When I was around 7 years old (1977), my brother would scare the shit out of me with the skull/grim reaper on the back cover of the LP... haha Great memories! - jeff

This is a Buy for all who do not have this disc. Awesome performance, produced with amenable High Fidelity,...i.e. pleasing to the ears!!

I have this album, and have burned it to a CD with a special machine that I own.

Indeed, it is a gre@ song!! In case my natural sus wasn't going to be enough, when hearing this song as a 14yr old, it did more to keep me away from 'smack' than any authoritarian sources ever did. Their songs made sense and so left a deep impression on me. I had respect for wh@ they were saying, unlike the untrustworthy bs being foisted on me from the establishment. One of the 'found@ion' albums of my musical make-up and imo the best of Steppenwolf.
