  • WOW - The complete ABBA The Visitors TV Advert - Thanks so much for this - superb !

  • Yes the one's you uploaded?

But then again most of your uploades from dailymotion arn't brilliant but still watchable.

Check out my other acount PETERALEXANDERSCOTT in which I'll be uploading old adevrts and Continuity.

  • Did you ever check out the BBC2 continuity from 1992? That's LP after 16/17 years!

  • What?

The quality on your tapes are pretty good just think of the age of which they are.

Most my tapes are in pretty good nick too. But then Again my oldest is from 1985 which isn't dead old but it's still fair age.

  • In the seventies, before VHS, Betamax was created. It was smaller than the VHS and was superior quality. When VHS followed a couple of years later, it was chunkier, weaker quality but had more recording time (6 hours in LP) - whilst the best Betamax could get up to was 3 hours 35 minutes. And of course the idiotic public went for the VHS, mainly due to the Video Nasties and the fact that it was cheaper than the beta.

Notice that my VHS recordings are in weaker quality.

  • Do you mind telling me the differance between?

I'm a bit of an idiot.

  • Quite a number, I still have my late grandfather's tapes to go through sometime. As I mentioned on another video, he started recording in 1978!

I must have about 60 tapes. Whilst my betamax collection is up to 400 tapes.

  • How many of your own tapes do you actually own?

  • It was a three hour documentary titled 'The Golden Age Of Comedy'. Unlike some of my other uploads, the recording was from one of my own tapes.

Many of my uploads have come from tapes bought or saved from being put to rest in a rubbish tip!

  • What was the film?
