Interview with Michael Dauer, Wright State University Dance alumnus of 2007, conducted in New York City, where Michael is working as a professional dancer. Shortly after arriving in New York, Michael was cast as Dance Captain and principle dancer in the national touring production of the musical Chicago. In the interview Michael credits Wright State with giving him a wide range of dance training -- the dance skills and experience to make it as a professional dancer in today's competitive dance world. In particular, Michael recalls the extensive dance opportunities that he had to perform not only in the annual dance concerts, but also in numerous departmental musical theatre shows, including Chicago, Ragtime, and South Pacific.
