  • Okuri Eri Jime is the sliding Lapel Choke, this variation is perhaps more like Kata Ha Jime Single Wing Choke

  • this was banned in judo for some time wasn't it

  • This is Okuri Eri Jime. Kata Ha Jime means that you have a single wing (IE arm trapped in) choke. It is usually done from the rear.

  • Isao Okano is a legend. He had an interview that was published by a judo journal who stated that IJF rules are horrible. He encourages judo tournaments to include a newaza based component.

  • why does another guy (Trixthor) name this move Okuri Eri Jime?

  • I love that second variation! Ima try that next time I spar at BJJ =D

  • Guillotine!!!

  • Great technique, thank"s.
