@ChampionRevilo Graphics were toned down because the GBA's resolution doesn't match that of a traditional TV screen.

@knuclear2008 Oh yeah I've heard that some cartridges had special things to help the console to do things it couldn't normally. I know that one was used in Mario RPG to make the console faster for exemple.

yeah, but the graphics were toned down a bit and there were a few aesthetic changes to all the games.
