The servo tester outputs the same PWM signal as an RC receiver, so you can use it to control servos, speed controllers, or any other RC operated device. Simply connect a receiver battery (a BEC works as well) and the device you wish to control, and turn the knob to adjust the output. The LEDs will indicate the approximate range of the output. A red LED indicates one direction, a green LED indicates the other, and a flashing LED indicates the end of travel. The potentiometer knob is fully proportional from 0 to 100% throttle in each direction when used with a bi-directional speed controller, or from 0 to 100% in one direction when using a uni-directional speed controller, making this perfect for use in electric vehicles or other situations using ESCs non-remotely.
