Strawberry Flavored Spiders

Bug Consumption: Bugs are not my preferred protein source. When I was a kid, the ice cream truck drove much slower than that. I guess if he's gonna drive that fast all the time, the kids can pre-burn off the empty calories they're about to consume trying to catch him, so perhaps the elevated speed ain't such a bad idea.

Remember that many of the small berry fruits that you buy NON organic at the store are LOADED with pesticides! Strawberrys are one of the worst...hence my growing them this year, despite bugs, spiders, etc.

(YES, this is one of my "allegedly" silly videos...but the info on pesticide use on strawberries is not! Be careful of those non-organic strawberries!! When buying slightly under-ripe strawberries, slice them in half and sprinkle a SMALL amount of powdered stevia onto the middle of each half...YUUUMMMMMMMM!!!)

(Goodness I hope people can tell when I'm being silly and when I'm not, else I'm in a load of trouble)

I actually thought you were going to talk about eating a spider that tasted like strawberry

I was white water rafting with friends a couple weeks ago and at our campground I ate a huge Ant that my buddy found on the marshmallows and it tasted like marshmallows!

You should always include a good fiber source if you are going to mix a protein with a high glycemic sugar like that. Had you grabbed up some of the surrounding weeds and ate some of those, they may have off-set the glycemic load from the marshmallow. (Yes, folks, I'm joking...;-)

I sneak into these people's backyard on the other side of town. I pick holidays like this...that way they're usually not home, works out great.

It's always great to see new videos from you!

I've heard the bug statistic before, and it's always made me skeptical because it begs the question of how the data was collected. I have a vision of men in lab coats following a test subject around for a year in alternating shifts, paying very close attention to his mouth and what goes in it... and doing this with several people to get an average... and it makes me wonder, who would fund THAT study? I dunno...
