Ok I really need someones opinion. I perfer KOF over Street Fighter because KOF moves are more unique and there is no 2 or more chracters that do the same move. Like in SF Ken, Dan, Ryu, and Akuma do the same moves with a small difference between them. And these chracters are more intresting than the ones on SF. Anyone agrees dissagress? I'd love to hear any other opinions. Trying to debate with a friend of mine about this.

@Jeremiahdelontay Dude but they are all Shotokan characters too. Other than them, every body else has diffrent moves. And besides, what KOF game has been even good in the past years? The first KOF game they put on 360, it blows ass hard. There are like, only 12 characters (no Mai), the online play lags like hell, and there is no story mode, but instead we get a short ass arcade mode. WTF? Street Fighter 4 brought it to the table better than KOF did in recent times. SNK sucks.

-Small roster also means lots of fan-favorites didn't make the cut

-and to top it all off, they charged full price ($60) for a game that could have been on DLC and when it was released when SF4, BB: Calamity Trigger and Tekken 6 was ether coming out or was out already, with more modes and character.

-and as a bonus KoF 96: Ultimate Dream Match came out on PSN/XBLA and some considered it a far superior game.

@richguev As a stand alone game its not bad, but as a KoF game its a complete joke:

-Characters move-sets have been ether stripped or completely removed and redone

-No story or arcade more what-so-ever only 5 time trial fights against random teams and no final boss

-Cheap or outright broken characters and moves (Looks at Robert Garcia)

-A roster of 12 fighters is fine, but KoF is a 3 on 3 fighter, makes teams very limited compared to other KoF games.

I love them both, for different reasons

And even if Street Fighter 2 (along with Mortal Kombat) welcomed me to the fighting world, I have to agree that there are some more interesting characters in SNKs corner
