America has since WWII been the leader of the Free World, and in that capacity we have for the most part fulfilled our obligation to all the free peoples of this world. But as American hegemony recedes, it is now the necessity of our friends and allies to contribute more to the security and safety of the Free World. In the 21st century, it is small wars like those in Iraq and Afghanistan that will shape tomorrow. It is imperative that we achieve victory in these areas, as well as in other less prominent theaters of war. Not only for the safety and well-being of our people, but to preserve our pride and moral upper-hand.

And those that do not believe in American power, we are still the 6 8" Hulk.

Actually, its all a matter of standards and reference... you see in Vietnam we may have had some 500,000 men at our peak but thats still a fraction of what the enemy had... funny thing is, we still killed on a ratio of 10 to 1 and never lost a battle in Vietnam. We lost 18 troops in the Battle of Mogadishu against what a UN estimate placed at 1000 Somali's... its all where you set your standards and I've never even heard of the bum piss country your from your in no place to speak.
