  • Nice XR7. Did you need to do any modification at all to make the non factory chin spoiler fit? Where did you end up getting it and was this for a Mustang or are they making them for the Cat?

  • Me and my dad are building one of these but it's goIng to be all stock exept for the seats

  • god,, i love mustangs till i die,, ive owned 3,,, but man,,, the first GEN Cougar is by far the better looking out of the two for that time... wish i saw more of these rare cats on the road

  • Anybody wants to buy stangs???? Go to my vids

  • @SwankeyMonkey oh...pooey. Yeh...I know they are like rare. I know some guy on the West Coast is like the gate keeper or something. I guess I could ask, but if that is the case, I am not like rich. lol and this is for a girl, me. Not a normal car for a girl to want huh? I like cars. Thanks for the info. My husband is a mechanic and will have to do the work. I am too busy these days to get in an engine, plus, my husband would tell me to stay away anyway!

  • @katkollmer You're thinking of the 68 Cougar GTE. Not of Shelby, though he had some early influence on Cougar. You're going to have alot of difficulty finding the GTE (horizontal band) because they were made in very limited quantity, roughly about 600, with understandably less of them existing now. They had either the 427(!) or the latter 428CJ's. Awesome and beautiful cars. I own 3 Cougs, 67-68. And have a keen eye for spotting them often at a distance, but have yet to ever see a GTE... sighhh

  • Cougars are hot...expecially when a girl agrees! Looking for one that my husband can rebuild. Currently rebuilding the engine on a 74 Comet for my daughter....and wow...got it sounding like a modified! One hot car for a tough bitch! Now it is my car that we are after...I want the one that has the horizontal band on the headlight covers. I understand it was a special one made by shelby. But your car is hot! Now...you need to rumble the engine! YEH!
