Zombie Vacation - Athens, Greece.
A tribute to one of the greatest cities in the world and one of the greatest film genres.
We didn't go to Athens to film some crazy zombie music video. It just happened one day when we were walking the streets at night and no one was around, so we decided to walk like zombies. It became something fun we would do everywhere we went so we just had to put it on film. So, there you go. No special cameras or anything, just a crappy, pocket size, 7mp Canon Powershot camera.
Athens is a city that I would recommend everyone visit. Best way to describe the city is to say it is one of controlled anarchy, with very comfortable chairs. Stray dogs and cats running around everywhere, people lounging, more dogs and cats, the Acropolis, and more lounging. Sure other cities have much more to offer as far as things to do and see, but what makes a city is its people, and the Athenians are cool mofos. They have free wifi everywhere (what more do want from life?) and limitless amounts of comfy places to lounge and do nothing.
We even got over 400 people to volunteer to hike up the acropolis at night and act like zombies. We wish. I believe the only time you can go up the Acropolis at night is in the summer when there is a full moon, so you have only 2 chances all year to go up there at night.
We filmed most of the scenes in Plaka, Faliro, Thissio, Monastiraki, Syntagma, Academy of Athens, Ancient Agora, Hephaisteion, Roman Agora, Tower of Winds, and of course the Acropolis.
Background music is Ghost Town - The Specials and Walk Like a Zombie - Horrorpops.
Thanks for watching.
Hottest zombies I've ever seen. Work of art.
