The use of text seems similar to other texts LDS use to introduce supposedly lost doctrines. The text on baptism for the dead is another example of this. It seems to me that LDS take these texts in isolation and give them undue prominance, and, hence, do not give due credence to the thrust of the Gospel as clearly taught in the Bible - which is the all-sufficient atonement for our sins and salvation by grace through our faith in Jesus Christ.

hey Radical. My concern with the LDS position is that there are no other references to "levels of heaven" in the Bible. There's no suggestion of a first or a second heaven anywhere. There are no indications of different degrees of glory. The Bible is silent about the LDS gospel principles that get you into the different levels of glory. So the LDS perspective of heaven seems less plausible than Shaz' explanation to me.

Funny how authoritative our detractors can be when that are taking things out of context and making up the rest. Good work my friend!

"Certainly components of it can be"
I guess it would depend on what level you on. I was narrowly thinking database entry.
I am assuming you are referring to multidimensional array analysis and their components?

"maybe it's the condition of the people leading them to radical thought? "
I find radicalism scary. I guess it is hard to take the radical out of the person.

Well, radical Islam is beginning to grow up in England and France (as well as the rest of Europe). So maybe it's the condition of the people leading them to radical thought?

You really do have to read the verses before and after the particular verses people cite when they try to prove things. Good work, my radical friend ;) I'm sure glad there aren't any neutron stars headed for earth...btw, hope to see you next week!

I also wonder what would POSSESS a person to twist and DISTORT at such a level. A level that I find is crippling Protestant Christianity in the United Kingdom. I guess they will take a mass apostasy in their own religion as long as they can tear down Mormon Christians.
I find it similar to radical Islam.
&&% provide insights into the nature of existence that I've not found elsewhere. Few narrow fields of study have so greatly (speaking proportionally) expanded my understanding of existence and the nature of it.

Certainly components of it can be. But I have to say things that I've learned about the nature of connections, about the nature of relational entities (all of existence consists of relational entities), has been a very mind expanding experience. It may sound silly to hear it but I think the theories that under gird modern relational database theory &&%
