This clip was created by a group of 23 NGOs in China that are working to protect the environment and Chinese citizens from the dangerous effects of toxic chemicals like copper and nickel that are being dumped at extremely high quantities into the Yangtze River by local factories that produce Apple II products for global distribution. Many residents and their children are suffering from environmental illnesses including symptoms like dizziness, nosebleeds, heart palpitations, difficulty breathing and worse. While Apple has provided the world with remarkable technology like iPhones, iPods, and Mac computers, which we all love for their ingenuity, communication and entertainment capacities, the indiscriminate poisoning of China's water supply is unjust and demands the world's attention and action. Do something—please tell Apple to stop poisoning the Yangtze River and to protect China's water supply for the next generation.
