DuMont is Germany's fourth largest newspaper firm with more than 200 years of publishing history.
The group is active in every branch of the media, from dailies to radio and TV broadcasting, the Internet and books. In 2006, DuMont's turnover was more than half a billion euros, and is one of the few independent family businesses on this scale. Group managing directors are two cousins, Konstantin Neven DuMont, age 38 and Christian DuMont Schütte, 51. One day they will succeed 71-year-old Alfred Neven DuMont, who has led the board of directors for the past 15 years.
i feel sorry for the worker who had one of the big bosses literally standing over his shoulder as he worked.
