Thank you for recognizing the value of this labor of love. I am reminded of my videos by the photos on your profile page...the similarity of the subject matter. Have been to Lubbock many times and my mom spent some of her youth in nearby Portales, N.M. One of her first jobs was that of working in a tomato cannery there.

Another great old recording Naomi. I hope the young people in your family realise how special it is to have family recordings from the 40's.The before and after pictures of the old house were amazing, somewhat sad but really amazing. I am somewhat familiar with that general area. I lived for several years in Lubbock Texas as a kid.....Terry

Dear Naomi, This is simply a masterpiece, and I truly mean that. Thanks so much for sharing these precious memories from your somewhat unique and wonderful childhood. I loved the house, especially after the front addition with the porch serving both the lower and upper floors. Mae's flowers where lovely. You were indeed a beautiful young lady.
